ABC CHAPTER AWARDS

The Minnesota/North Dakota Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is rewarding members who are dedicated to improving their business, customer service and community through determination and hard work. It is an esteemed honor to be recognized by your peers as a leader in the construction industry. 

ABC is now collecting nominations from the membership. Upon receipt of the awards nomination form, ABC will send the nominee an award profile form. This form must be completed by the nominee and sent back to ABC no later than October 15, 2024, so please nominate early. The winners will be selected by the Business Development Committee. Emphasis will be placed on community, customer relations, contributions to ABC, and advancing one’s own company. The winners of the awards will be announced at ABC’s Annual Meeting, November 2024.

Notes on Rules and Regulations: Award Profile Forms must be completed by Nominees and sub-nominees to ABC by October 15, 2024. ​ABC Member of the Year ABC Member of the year recognizes the outstanding efforts of the individual who contributed the most to ABC over the past year at the Chapter level. 

Criteria: Excellence in job performance, aggressive commitment to continuing education, demonstrated leadership in promoting a positive image for the construction industry, acts as a role model for women in the industry and/or the community, participates in community and/or charitable activities. 
   
 ABC Construction Woman of the Year Eligibility: Regular full-time female employee of an ABC member company, more than one woman can be nominated from any one company, any employee of any ABC company can nominate any other ABC company member. For example: Skilled trades, super-intendants, administration, estimators, management, project engineers, and sales. 
   
 ABC Hall of Fame The MN/ND ABC Hall Of Fame Award will be presented to the ABC Member, who through the years has achieved significant accomplishments for the construction industry, the Merit Shop and the ABC of MN/ND. 
   
 ABC Associate/Supplier of the Year Associate/Supplier of the year recognizes the outstanding efforts of the member company who contributed the most to ABC members over the past year. 
   
 ABC Contractor of the Year Contractor of the year recognizes the outstanding efforts of the member company who contributed the most to ABC and Merit Shop over the past year.
